Greetings Voodoo fans - the greatest fans in air racing! 

I want you all to hear my decisions from me:

In 2009, my enthusiasm for campaigning Voodoo waned greatly and, after 15 years of racing, I made the decision that 2010 would be my last year.  I even had my tag line ready for Sunday’s race - “It came to an end in Twenty-Ten” – but with poor management decisions and Mother Nature, Sunday’s race never happened!

So as a tribute to all the hard work done by the team, I relented to myself and headed for the Gold in 2011 to celebrate the close of this chapter in my/our lives on Sunday, but that did not happen.  What did happen to The Galloping Ghost had absolutely no bearing on my decision.  “My mind was made up before I showed up.”

I do believe the races will continue in 2012, so what to do with Voodoo?  We all want to see it continue to be campaigned as a Gold racer and it is for sale.  We are here to support the efforts of the new owner after the purchase.  There is the best crew ever assembled to race an airplane possibly available and the engines, the biggest part of the racing equation, we now do them in house and would be able to continue to do so.

So, just as the sign stated in 1998:  “Family Sacrifice Ends – For Sale or Trade.”  This time it has ended!
